Sterilization processes in clinics and medical practices

Hygiene is everything! In clinics and medical practices, the health of patients and employees always comes first. For this reason, clear regulations regarding cleaning procedures and hygiene standards apply in these areas of healthcare – for example, in the sterilization of surgical instruments.

To prove compliance with regulations in cleaning processes regardless of the technical equipment of the washing devices, we have developed the temperature- and pressure-resistant sensor data loggers TELID®311.ac and TELID®314.ac. These loggers ensure seamless and efficient temperature monitoring throughout the entire sterilization process under extreme temperature and pressure conditions of up to +135°C and 3.6 bar. The TELID®314.ac features an external temperature sensor, which ensures temperature monitoring in cavities or hard-to-reach areas on the instruments.

Every TELID® has a built-in battery with a lifespan of up to 3 years with regular use. Our TELID®.eco series even features a rechargeable battery that can reach a lifespan of up to 25 years with its approximately 1,000 charging cycles. More than 8,000 data packets consisting of sensor values and timestamps can be recorded during a measurement process. Using TELID®soft 6, valid protocols for A0, F0, and F93.3 can be generated according to the relevant regulations to meet the documentation requirements for sterilization processes and compliance with defined temperature ranges.

Washing processes according to CLC/FprTS 50707

The technical specification CLC/FprTS 50707 issued by CENELEC defines a measurement method for determining the representative maximum temperature reached during a washing cycle. The measurement of temperature profiles during the washing process and the technical specification CLC/FprTS 50707 place special requirements on the temperature data logger, which our TELID®311 fulfills.

Storage and transport of sensitive products

One of the most important criteria in the transport of food and medicine is punctual delivery while maintaining the cold chain. The use of the TELID®312.nfc sensor data logger, which can independently measure and store the temperature at predefined intervals, is an effective and simple solution for proving compliance with specified temperature values during storage and transport.

NFC data loggers from microsensys simplify the digital data acquisition of temperature profiles in logistical processes by storing the measured values directly on the integrated memory. The measurement curve can then be read out via the NFC interface using any standard smartphone or tablet. Our Android app handles the visualization.
